JULY TALK

live off the floor

PROBLEM: July Talk recognized that there was an incredible amount of energy, authenticity and spontaneity reverberating from their rehearsal sessions in their jam space but these vibes were going undocumented.

SOLUTION: We collaborated with the band on an ongoing basis, coordinating small, agile recording sessions in which we’d join them in their rehearsal space and capture some of their intimate performative moments on camera.

RESULTS:

  • Constant Content - fresh content rolling out at a more consistent rate.

  • Intimate Perspectives - videos that offered access to a less showcased side of the band’s process.

  • Dynamic Offerings - with the approach being more agile, the band had the flexibility to try new things; new or rare tracks of their own or covers of old favourites. The nimble nature of the project allowed the band to be more responsive than larger, more entrenched campaigns typically allow.
